Thanks for you interest in getting plugged in at The Four56! There are many ways to connect and serve here where you'll be a great encouragement to others as well as grow deeply. Check out the list of our current teams below, reach out to their leaders and get involved - we're so excited to have you be a part of our family!

This team is specifically designed to help people meet their physical needs. If someone is struggling financially and we can provide them groceries, gas money, or help out a little bit with bills; we would love to provide. If you are part of this team, you will be contacted to help meet some needs or be delivering the goods. We want to start with those who are part of our church family, and care for them like the church did in the book of Acts. If you have a benevolent personality and want to be part of this team contact Sheila.

Our coffee bar stays busy each and every Sunday for both of our services and we need your help. If you can mix a hot chocolate, pour a glass of lemonade, and serve up some donuts we would enjoy your participation in this team. If working the coffee bar is not your speed but you like to bake delicious breakfast goods, please sign up and bake us delicious goods! Each week we give out donuts and homemade baked goods. You know that recipe you have from your great aunt Ruth; we want to try it. If you want to work the coffee bar or want to provide breakfast we would be proud to have you.

Sometimes people in our church family need a little bit of help around the house and we at The Four56 want to make sure that they have it. If you have some tools and know how to use them we want you for this team. You may need to help fix a leaky sink or replace the float in someone’s toilet or any other number of things. The goal of this group is to be able to serve those in our church and help them take care of something that time, money, or physical restrictions prevents them from doing on their own.

At The Four56 we are abundantly intentional with loving our kids well by caring for them and pointing them to Jesus! On Sundays we offer childcare for babies up to kindergarteners during both services and on Wednesdays we have our Kids Group of 1st - 5th graders that meet for a lesson and fun. If serving these amazing little ones in any capacity sounds like a great time to you, we would love to have you be a part of this team!

If you have ever had surgery, or a baby, or a loss in the family and then been blessed by a meal train, then you know how great an encouragement this team can be. We want to make sure if someone is homebound and laid up they don’t have to worry about food, as well as being checked on and encouraged. If you can cook something, GREAT, but which Texan ever said no to Whataburger either?? If you like to call to make sure your sick friend is doing well, or to see if they need a chocolate shake; I’d say you probably want to be part of our Ministry Team.

Are you the kind of person that knows how to make people to feel welcome? Do you love to meet new people and let them know they are loved? We need people to do just that each Sunday before both services. We’d love for you to be part of the welcome team that can direct people to the donuts, show people where to sign in at the nursery, introduce guests to our regulars, and overall just help people not to slip through the cracks. From the time people walk up to our church doors we want them to feel like they are part of us!

The Four56 Youth is made up of some pretty awesome 6th - 12th graders and you can be part of the team that serves them! May it be every Wednesday or whenever you’re available, hands on and hanging out, or more of a provisional role, we’ve definitely got something for you. Join the group or reach out to Pierce with any questions and get involved with our youth team here at The Four56!
